Sybil Press (est. 2013) is a DC/SATX publisher of handmade artist-books. Their radical bricolage spans feminist/queer manifestos, animal studies, zines, and a music imprint. For over a decade, they have exhibited at Printed Matter and across various galleries and other fairs from Boston, Vancouver, Paris to Tokyo. Sales partially benefit animal welfare orgs.

Sybil Press is a publishing practice dedicated to the intersection of radical theory and handmade craft. Since 2013, we have used risograph and silkscreen printing to produce artist-books that bridge the gap between ideas and underground aesthetics. Our production is ethically minded, prioritizing vegan materials wherever possible to align our physical work with our values. We curate a radical bricolage that centers counter-cultural narratives, ranging from feminist/queer manifestos to animal studies, zines, and poetry. This work extends into a music imprint that mirrors these themes. Our community involvement spans over a decade of international participation, including the Boston Art Book Fair, Capital Art Book Fair (DC), Vancouver Art Book Fair, Printed Matter (LA), and Paris and Tokyo. By donating a portion of our sales to animal welfare orgs, we ensure our practice supports the living subjects of our radical studies, maintaining a cycle of mutual aid and creative interdependence.
